[Bertrand]: I’m Bertrand Petras. What can I say about the MENA markets? They’ve constantly evolved over the last 20 years. I’m so proud to work in a multicultural environment, cooperating with people from all over the world, who inspire me.
[Arthur]: Hello everyone. I’m Arthur David. It is a real pleasure to work in the Middle East market. The region has a rich cultural and historical heritage, and each time we visit clients, I am impressed by their resilience in the face of challenges and by their warm hospitality.
[Pierre]: Hi, I am Pierre Salameh from Beirut. I would like to share with you a funny story that happened during a market visit in Egypt in 1990. I had to take a taxi from the airport, and the guy was an amber gambler who ran all the red lights in town. Every time I complained, saying: “It’s a red light! Why crossing?” he answered: “Don’t worry, I am a professional.” Then we had a green light, and he stopped the car! I said: “But the light is green! Why stopping?” He replied: “There may be another professional crossing. I have to stop.”
